About Dainese

Dainese was established in 1972 by the current president Lino Dainese. Based in Vinenza, Italy, the company specialises in protective clothing not just for motorcycling, but also for mountain biking and downhill skiing. Producing a large range of motorcycle leathers, textile clothing, gloves, boots, and protection, Dainese are one of the biggest manufacturers of motorcycle clothing in the world. Constantly innovative, they are the originators of the "head-to-toe" protection idea, which is the combination of various motorcycle clothing components alongside rider protection.

Their commitment to innovation is exemplified by the creation of the Dainese Technology Centre (D-Tec®) in 1993, which is dedicated to the study and development of protective products, and in 2001 a mobile research structure known as D-Mobile to test the latest technological innovations on race tracks around the world. Dainese place the protection, comfort, and style of motorcyclists as the three core elements that form the basis of all of their research and product development, and are therefore a brand to be trusted.

Notable wearers of Dainese motorcycle clothing include Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi, and Giacomo Agostini.
